Abstract

This paper discusses in a theoretical synthesis the objectives of literary teaching, the renewal of the cutting-edge teaching literature appreciation in schools, and ideal teachers who can voice 'revival' of literature, especially for students. The method used in preparing this paper is through document search. The intended document is the theory or results of research and studies that intersect with the teaching of the latest literature. Furthermore, the results obtained that the teaching of literature in contemporary addition to using multiple models and multi-media and web-based, also need to be developed conventional system in which teachers should be involved actively in compose.
