IMPLEMENTASI NILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA SEKOLAH DASAR DI BANDARLAMPUNG

Abstract

This study aims to: describe the implementation of character education in Indonesian language learning; describe the factors that influence the implementation of character education; and describe the value of character education in the reading text (short story) of Indonesian V grade elementary school books in grade V elementary school in Bandarlampung. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were selected, namely in SDN 4 Kotakarang. Data collection techniques include participatory observation, field notes, and document analysis. The results of the study show that: 1) To find out about the implementation of character education in Indonesian language learning SDN 4 Kotakarang, Teluk Betung Timur, Kota Bandarlampung, researchers examined the object, namely: planning of learning and implementation of learning; 2) factors that influence the implementation of character education in SDN 4 Kotakarang, namely: inhibiting factors and supporting factors; and 4) There are character values in children's stories, namely: religious, curiosity, creative, democratic, hard work, communicative, and social care.
