Abstract

Issues raised in this study relates to the weakness experienced by students in writing official letters. The method used in this research is descriptive normative method with data analysis techniques with descriptive analysis models. The results of the study showed there were still mistakes in writing official letters and determining the elements contained in official letters based on the specified indicators. The category describes the ability of all aspects of assessment, namely the accuracy of the letter, a letter of systematic precision, accuracy words, the precision and accuracy of spelling words are used. Error writing a letter that was common among the systematics of writing a letter, tend many errors in the writing of the letter head.
